Maple Miso Salmon with Roasted Asparagus (Easy Sheet Pan Dinner)

Ingredients

For the Salmon + Glaze:

  • 1½–2 lbs Salmon skin-on or off

Maple Miso Glaze:

  • 2 tbsp white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice or rice vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove grated

For the Asparagus:

  • 1 bunch asparagus ends trimmed
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • Salt + pepper

Optional for serving:

  • Cooked rice or quinoa
  • Lemon wedges
  • Sesame seeds or fresh herbs

Instructions

Preheat + Prep

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F and arrange the oven rack 6 inches from the broiler. Line a sheet pan with tin foil for easy cleanup.

Make the Glaze

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the miso, tahini, maple syrup, lemon juice, and grated garlic until smooth.

Prep the Salmon

  • Pat the salmon dry and place it on one side of the sheet pan. Brush generously with the maple miso glaze.

Prep the Asparagus

  • Spread the asparagus out on the other side of the sheet pan. Drizzle with oil and season with salt and pepper.

Roast

  • Roast for about 10 minutes total, depending on thickness, until: Salmon is flaky and just cooked through. Glaze is caramelized on top. Asparagus is tender with lightly crisp edges
  • Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for extra caramelization.

Serve

  • Finish with a squeeze of lemon and any toppings you love.
  • Serve as-is or over rice or quinoa for a more complete meal.
